NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Education of the Elmsford
Union Free School District that pursuant to Section 2018(d) of the Education Law,
due to the withdrawal of a candidate for the office of member of the Board of
Education for the May 20, 2025 election, the time for filing petitions for
nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education for such
office, is hereby extended until May 13, 2025, and such petitions must be filed at
the District Clerk’s Office, 98 South Goodwin Avenue, Elmsford, NY, by no later
than 5:00 PM on May 13, 2025. Such petitions must be signed by at least 25
qualified voters of the School District, must state the name and residence address
of each signer and the name and residence address of the candidate.  There are two
seats for three-year terms (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028). Petition forms may be
picked up at the District Office on weekdays when school is in session, during
regular business hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
